This is a quote attributed to Bill Joy, but I can't seem to find it explicitly cited anywhere.
I like this because it argues against trying to do everything yourself. If you want to change the world in some meaningful way, one way to do it is to enable others to work on your behalf. Done correctly, whenever they add value to their vision they add value to yours as well. It's really called leverage, but in this case you're leveraging people by helping them to enable their visions while they help to enable yours.
