Up with the sheep in Abbeycwmhir.

A Victorian-era dam along the Elan.

Bridge over the River Elan.

Catch-and-release in Wales.

These reservoirs provide water and some power to the city of Birmingham.

A newer dam that was completed in 1952.  Interestingly it was surfaced to look like the Victorian-era dams nearby.

If you look closely there's a heron across the lake.

Where there is Wales there are sheep.

A structure at the Cwmystwyth Lead Mining works. This area was mined continuously from the Bronze age until around 1923.

A waterfall near the mine works.

Another castle over the hill near the River Dyfi.

The River Dyfi estuary.

A lake named Llyn Mwyngil.

Another view of Llyn Mwyngil.

The mountains above the road while driving to Snowdonia.
