Day 8 - Portmeirion

Llyn Tegid, otherwise known as Bala Lake, is a lake in northern Wales.

If you've been a fan of the 1960's TV series, The Prisoner, you may recognize this location. It is Portmeirion near the coast of Wales.

A memorial to Patrick McGoohan at Portmeirion.  He died in 2009.

The decommissioned Magnox nuclear reactor at Trawsfynydd.  It was operational from 1965 and was closed in 1991.

Lynn Trawsfynydd, If you look closely there's a plane in the middle of the image that was very noisy and buzzed the countryside periodically.

Cymer Abbey.  Not much of the abbey left but it was an interesting stop along the way.
