(2022.09.22 Thursday) Spent the morning planning outings a few days ahead. Went out looking for breakfast and discovered that breakfast isn't usually available until after 10am. I did find a place that was open a little earlier. Decided I had time in the day to walk to Mousehole. A pretty easy, generally flat, walk along the edge of the sea. Paved all the way.
Nearby produce market.
These are fun. They are boot scrapers and you can find them in many places in England.
An old canon in Morrab Gardens.
Looking toward Mousehold from the Penzance Promenade. You can barely see it near the end of the headland.
Statue in Newlyn.
Newlyn harbor. It's a very busy fishing port. The harbor is a riot of shape and color.
The lifeboat station on the way to Mousehole.
Mousehole harbor.
St. Michael's Mount across the bay.
Got caught in a rainstorm on the way back. I was drenched before I arrived at the Admiral Benbow for dinner. Fortunately, they had room for me. It seems that reservations are required everywhere.
