(2022.09.23, Friday) Ate breakfast at the Honey Pot then decided to walk to Saint Michael's Mount. Most of these pictures are from that walk. Got back to Penzance fairly early and had a Cornish cream tea. In the evening I went to the White Lion for their karaoke night. It was loud, raucous, and fun. The people-watching was interesting. A lot of just folks from the local area having a good time.
I guess this is St. Paul's Jubilee Memorial. It's just up the street from where I'm staying. It looks like it may be for sale if anyone is interested.
Mount's Bay on the way to Saint Michael's Mount.
Looking back on Penzance.
A dog on the beach having a good time chasing a ball.
Saint Michael's Mount under the clouds.
Flowers along the way.
Just another day at the beach.
The famous causeway to the mount. I didn't make it to the mount itself because I had failed to buy a ticket in advance. I may try again next week.
Very clear bay water.
Definitely needed a pit stop on the way back. Foster's, by the way, was perfect for the day.
An MCA cutter in the distance.
Saint Michael's Mount with different lighting.
Penzance.
With the possible exception of Africa, England does clouds better than anywhere else that I've been.
Closing flower of the day. Near where I'm staying.
